Dahl-Vaughn offers many types of sensors to fit your process requirements.
FLOW: Sponsler is a premium supplier of Liquid and Gas flow Turbine meters. Sponsler precision turbine flow meters measure volume using a precision-crafted, hydraulically-balanced rotor in the low stream. These turbine meters are supplied in ranges from ¼” to 12”. Typical turbine meters have a turn-down range slightly higher than 10:1. Meter accessories such as pulse transmitters and totalizers are also offered.
LEVEL: Princo Instruments offers level instrumentation using the following sensor technology: Ultrasonic, RF Impedance and Magnetic coupled. These instruments are offered as linear output devices, Point Level output devices and Multiple Point Level devises. Princo also offers a Presence/Absence detector that offers obstructionless presence/absence of liquids or solids for run-dry protection of pumps. They also offer a unique 3D sensor that measures Bulk Solids and gives the operator accurate Volume, Weight and Level information.
LOAD CELLS: Stellar Technology now offers Load Cells in the following configurations:
Pancake Style from 100 to 200,000 lbf.
Miniature Style from 100 to 30,000 lbf.
Subminiature Style from 10 to 1000 lbf.
Rod End Style from 5,000 to 120,000 lbf.
Thru-Hole Style from 250 to 30,000 lbf.
Beam Style from 500 to 5,000 lbf.
Clevis Pin Style from 3,000 to 200,000 lbf.
Note that all Load Cells are offered either as non-amplified mV/V output or as amplified with either 0-5 VDC, 0 – 10 VDC, 4-20 madc or Digital (RS-232, RS-485 or CANBuss) output.
LVDT: Stellar Technology now offers LVDTs.
PRESSURE: Stellar Technology offers Pressure Transducers and Pressure Transmitters. These are offered in a variety of configurations for Aerospace, General Purpose, Hazardous locations, Submersible and differential.
PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE: Stellar Technology offers a dual transmitter with pressure and temperature all in one unit. Temperature can be anywhere within the limits of –320 to +400o F and Pressure up to 6000 psi.
TEMPERATURE: Dahl-Vaughn offers both Stellar Technology and SensorTec for your temperature needs.
Stellar Technology offers 100 and 1000 ohm platinum RTD units in both amplified and non-amplified units. These units are high quality aerospace units of all SS design. They will operate at process pressures up to 6000 psi.
SensorTec offers Thermocouple probes and transmitters plus RTD probes and transmitters. These probes are widely used in General Industry, Food and Drug industry and Petrochemical applications. RTD probes are offered in 100, 500 and 1000 ohm platinum and 500 ohm nickel. These units can be either single or dual elements. Thermocouple probes are offered in Type-J, K, E or T junctions of grounded, ungrounded or open bead types.
